Underground Diesel Fitters | Surface Workshop | FIFO ex Brisbane | $75-$85/hr
We're currently seeking experienced Underground Diesel Fitters for an ongoing FIFO opportunity with a well-established mining contractor.
This is a surface workshop-based role, carrying out maintenance and repairs on a fleet of underground mining equipment. If you've got strong UG mining experience and are looking for a long-term roster with excellent hourly rates, we'd love to hear from you.

- FIFO from Brisbane
- Thursday to Thursday roster
- $75-$85 per hour (depending on experience)
- Ongoing opportunity with a reputable operation
- Surface workshop environment
Experience Required We're looking for candidates with underground mining experience, ideally working on equipment such as:
- Epiroc MT65 trucks
- Sandvik DD421 development drills
- Sandvik LH517 loaders
- Sandvik TH550/TH663 or similar underground trucks
- Simba long-hole drills
- Normet underground equipment
- Boggers (1700 & 2900 series)
To Be Successful You Will Have - Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Previous underground hard rock mining experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work safely in a team environment
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
